I used the same format(Horizontal) as Demos One and Two so that the all studies can be compared to one another |
Tone canvas with a grayed mix of Venetian Red and Terra Rosa. Use a touch of viridian for graying. |
 Paint in largest light and dark masses in positive and negative spaces near the focal point(the face). |
Continue painting darkest darks throughout the composition to better form the composition.

Paint in the remainder canvas adding light and dark highlights and further refining the details as needed. |
